Dr Emma Tetstall is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has established a busy private practice in the Illawarra.

Emma holds a Staff Specialist appointment with admitting rights at Wollongong Public Hospital. She also has a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) appointment at Wollongong Private Hospital, where she provides personalised private obstetric care.

Emma enjoys general obstetrics and strongly supports normal vaginal birth. She also believes in a woman’s right to choose an elective caesarean section. Emma has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and is very experienced in managing pregnancies complicated by:

  • Twin and multiple pregnancies

  • Previous preterm birth

  • Hypertension and previous preeclampsia

Emma is highly skilled in managing all aspects of labour and delivery including:
