Working alongside Dr Emma Tetstall, Practice Midwife Anna provides an additional layer of care, education and reassurance throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Her role is designed to complement your obstetric care, ensuring you have access to guidance, support and continuity throughout your journey.

Meet Anna

Anna is an experienced Endorsed Midwife with over ten years of clinical experience across both public and private maternity services.

She holds a Masters of Primary Maternity Care and has worked in a variety of maternity settings, including Midwifery Group Practice, birth centres, private hospitals and complex maternity care services. Throughout her career, Anna has supported women and families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, providing care that is both evidence-based and deeply personalised.

As a mother herself, Anna understands the excitement, uncertainty and transformation that often accompanies pregnancy and early parenthood. She brings a calm, compassionate and approachable presence to every family she supports.

Throughout your pregnancy, Anna is available to provide additional education, guidance and support alongside your appointments with Dr Emma Tetstall.

This may include:

  • Postnatal guidance and recovery information

Emma and Anna work closely together to ensure your care remains personalised, consistent and centred around your individual needs. This team-based approach provides both specialist medical expertise and the additional support that many women value throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.

Anna also works as a midwife in the birth unit at Wollongong Private Hospital.

Supporting You Beyond Birth

The transition into parenthood can be just as important as pregnancy itself.

Anna has a particular interest in supporting women during the postpartum period and is currently completing further qualifications in lactation support. She is passionate about helping families navigate the early weeks of parenthood with confidence, knowledge and reassurance.
