Practice Manager

Kristy is an experienced medical receptionist, with 28 years working in many areas of medical administration including 18 years in the Maternity unit of Wollongong and Figtree Private Hospitals.

She is committed to providing support for patients, medical professionals and staff.

Kristy works behind the scenes to ensure the practice runs smoothly and understands the diverse needs of local families, providing a warm, empathic, and reassuring point of contact for all new and existing patients.

When she is not at work, she enjoys playing tennis, swimming and watching AFL.

Practice Midwife

Anna is an experienced and passionate midwife with ten years of clinical practice across leading Sydney maternity hospitals. Holding a Masters of Primary Maternity Care from Griffith University, Anna is an Endorsed Midwife with advanced skills across all areas of maternity care.

Anna began her career at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, where she spent several years growing from a graduate midwife into a Midwifery Group Practice midwife. In this role she provided continuity of care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, supporting home births, birth centre births and complex pregnancies. She went on to become a Clinical Midwifery Specialist at Kareena Private Hospital, where she further developed her expertise in clinical leadership and complex maternity care.

At the end of 2024, Anna and her family swapped their busy Sydney lifestyle for the relaxed coastal life of the Illawarra, joining Wollongong Private Hospital where she has been working since. It was during her own pregnancy in 2025 that she began working with Dr. Tetstall. As a mother of two, Anna knows firsthand the transformative and sometimes challenging nature of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, an experience that has made her a more empathetic and understanding midwife. She is also currently working towards her Lactation Consultant qualification, reflecting her dedication to supporting women beyond birth. Anna brings a calm, knowledgeable and deeply caring approach to every family she has the privilege of supporting.

Medical Receptionist

Known to many as “Shaz”, Sharyn has over 42 years of experience across several specialist medical fields.

As a previous obstetrics Practice Manager for 23 years, Sharyn brings a wealth of experience to helping and supporting new mums and families through their pregnancy journeys. On top of her organisational and administrative skills, Sharyn brings positivity, kindness and good humour to everything she does.

She is a proud mum of 4 and grandmother of 10 who loves a chat and always has a story to tell. Like many of us in the Illawarra, she embraces the ocean lifestyle spent close to family and friends.
